I'm a huge Randy Wayne White fan and this summer I was able to go down to Sanibel and go to Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grille. I'm almost done finishing all of RWW's books and I've enjoyed every one. If you're a local in the South Florida area, you should definitely read the Doc Ford series of books. While in Sanibel, we stayed at the Sanilbel Inn which was a nice little, old Florida kind of place that we would be willing to stay at again in the future. We did some shelling, snorkeling (I caught a Permit with my bare hands), and rode bikes to the Sanilbel lighthouse.
